Julie Obi; Convener of GES
Julie Obi, an alumna of the United State Government Exchange Program YALI who is also the convener of the Global entrepreneurship symposium, highlighted the importance of fostering active partnerships amongst entrepreneurs and encouraging export income growth to reduce the nation’s reliance on crude oil.

Annually the Global Entrepreneurship Symposium is organized to build the capacity of our local entrepreneurs for global competitiveness

The 2023 edition which was the 3rd in the series brought together experts speakers ,exhibitors and participants to brainstorm for entrepreneurial growth and development in Nigeria and Africa.


In the face of economic challenges brought on by declining oil prices, experts, and policymakers, called on Nigerian youths and women to unleash their ideas and transform them into successful ventures.




This call to action was emphasized at the Global Entrepreneurship Symposium in Lagos, which sought to address the need for economic diversification and the promotion of entrepreneurship as a means of driving the country’s growth.
