The UNDP-EU, One UN Basket Grant Funded Project for MSMEs in Nigeria

We have successfully facilitated the UNDP-EU, UN Basket Fund project for MSMEs in Kano, Kwara, Edo, Anambra, and Lagos. This initiative aims to enhance the capacities of micro, small, and medium enterprises through cluster-based support to foster improved resilience and sustainable growth.

Each participant received crucial funding along with capacity-building support. This grant is specifically designed to help these businesses grow and mitigate the adverse effects of economic hardship that small businesses face across the country.

As the content creator and facilitator of the entrepreneurship management course for this project, I am proud to affirm that the training modules were meticulously tailored to address the unique challenges encountered by these MSMEs. Our comprehensive curriculum covered vital aspects such as financial management, marketing strategies, and business planning, all aimed at equipping entrepreneurs with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in a competitive market. The practical and hands-on approach ensured that participants could directly apply what they learned to their businesses, fostering immediate and tangible improvements.

The project's success underscores the importance of targeted support and tailored training in empowering small businesses to overcome obstacles and achieve sustainable growth.

We are committed to continuing this impactful work, driving positive change, and supporting the resilience and prosperity of MSMEs in Nigeria.
